Louise Wichmann Madsen joined Hafnia Law Firm in 2020. In 2024, she was appointed managing counsel.
Louise obtained a Master of Laws degree from the University of Copenhagen in 2015 and a Master of International Trade and Business Law from James E. Rogers College of Law in 2014. In 2018, Louise became a licensed attorney in the State of New York, USA.
Before joining Hafnia Law Firm, Louise spent four years as a dispute settlement lawyer at the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, working on a number of disputes between member states regarding international trade law issues.
Louise works with all matters within the firm’s practice areas, incl. maritime, transport and insurance law. She has extensive experience with international arbitration.
