Anders Amstrup Fournais joined Hafnia Law Firm in 2012, was admitted to the Danish bar in 2015 and became a partner in 2021.

Anders’ areas of expertise are shipping & trading with a particular focus on dispute resolution. He is an active litigator and thrives with complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation and international arbitration. Anders was admitted to appear before the Supreme Court in 2020.

In recent years, Anders has led a high number of claims through English arbitration for Danish and foreign clients acting as solicitor on record before English arbitrators.

Anders’ has a particular focus on assisting ship brokers, agents, port operators, terminals, ship yards, ship owners, bunker suppliers and ship chandler on shipping, regulatory and other commercial issues. Anders also draws on experience from offshore projects.
